Sandra's carved orange spiny oyster shell earrings honor the unity and oneness of Corn-Maiden and Grandmother in feminine strength and wisdom. The double-sided earrings with turquoise inlays host Corn Maiden who has etched corn on her. Grandmother's shawl has star and Dragonfly elements. Incised facial details are filled with jet paste. Including hooks, measurements of these lightweight adornments are approximately 2 3/8" long, 3/8" wide and 1/4" deep.
