The Indigenous Chumash People surrounding the Santa Barbara Channel believe their connection to the ocean and marine life is not only spiritual but familial. Dolphins are considered blood brothers and sisters, key members of the Chumash creation story. We can respect marine life by reducing, reusing and recycling non-biodegradable items including damaging plastics. Honor dolphins and other ocean friends by doing our share to keep their homes clean. Danette Laate's golden amber dolphin joyfully jumps through the waves. Eyes are from turquoise inlays and a blowhole is drilled. About 2" long, 3/8" wide and 1" tall.
