Four Corn-maiden sisters bond, built on shared memories and understanding. Etched Dragonflies and star elements adorn them. Faces are from overlaid gold lip shell that have been etched and filled with jet paste. Colorful lapis lazuli, alunite, turquoise and red coral cabochons are inlaid, while Corn bodies are beautifully incised. Kateri Quandelacy Sanchez creates collectible fetishes and fetish jewelry because she's a wonderful artist coming from an important family of artisans. About 2 3/8" tall, 1 7/8" wide and 3/4" deep, carved from invigorating orange alabaster.
