Bear is sculpted from a fine turquoise originating from the Tyrone mines near Silver City, New Mexico. It's considered of investment quality because it is no longer being mined. For the A:Shiwi (Zuni), bears are both kin and teachers who offer lessons about living in harmony with Mother Earth and other life skills like standing in power, good mothering and healing. About 1 7/8" long, 3/8" wide and 7/8" tall.
