Twin Maiden Sisters

Zuni stone carver Kyle Awelagte's father is Burt Awelagte. His brother is artist Ryan Awelagte. Kyle's latest offering is a wonderful pair of twin figures or perhaps Maiden sisters each sculpted from angelite. Perhaps their duality symbolizes a sameness yet difference. Facial features are from turquoise inlays and they share a gorgeous blue and green turquoise, enchanting quartz and warm amber bead offering necklace. Together they measure about 2 3/8" tall, 2" wide and 1 1/4" deep.
