Tufted Forest Owl

By Andres Lementino

Animal: Owl, Material: Antler
This offering is sold.

A coniferous forest is home to Andres Lementino's antler Owl who perches on a strong branch growing from the enormous trunk of a tall tree. Owls prefer to sit high up in conifers, which can make them tough to see amid the dense needles. We can protect owl habitats by leaving large, older and even dead trees undisturbed because they provide nesting holes and calling perches. Tufts are accented with burnishing, while a myriad of turquoise inlays decorate cross-hatched plumage. Night watch eyes are from turquoise. Measurements are about 1 5/8" tall, 1" wide and 5/8" deep.
