Stewart Quandelacy and Priscilla Lasiloo Quandelacy's
Medicine-bear is purposely rounded to resemble the den or cave entrance where a
Bear survives the lean months resting in torpor. This sets a good example for us to stop and take care of ourselves too. Carved from refreshing chrysocolla, measurements are about 2 1/4" long, 3/8" wide and 2 1/8" tall. Eyes are from pen shell or perhaps jet inlays, while an alternating heartline or breath path is set with colorful red coral.
