Fred Bowannie Jr.'s Bear carvings have the most expressive demeanors. This sweetie is no exception carved from indigenous sugar daddy travertine with a natural candy-like luster. It is found around the Nutria area on the Zuni Reservation. Soft brown eyes are from inlaid pen shell giving them a knowing depth. A handsome turquoise point compliments the natural beauty of the yummy travertine. Approximately 1 1/4" long, 1/2" wide and 1 3/8" tall.
