Mother and son Avelia and Anderson Jamie Peynetsa who are both noted Zuni potters collaborated in the creation of a delightful and collectible pottery duck who honors the miracle of life that water brings. Graphic eye rings, dotted beak and stylized tail feathers decorate the fabulous water fowl. Robust Dragonflies also adorn the skillfully hand-built with natural clay and painted with mineral pigments small-sized pottery. About 4 1/2" long, 3" wide and 5 5/8" tall. Signed by the artists.
