Bear from beautifully polished jet with perceptive eyes from turquoise inlays. Jet is a natural fossilized coal derived from wood that changed under extreme pressure in times long past. It's not considered a mineral but a mineraloid. Examples of mineraloids include coal, glass and obsidian, which are materials that don't meet all the criteria of what are considered true minerals with crystal structures. About 3 1/8" long, 3/4" wide and 1 1/8" tall.
