Salvador Romero's Bear is carved of a two toned found stone, about 3 1/2" long and 2" tall. Its simple shape belies the deep wisdom that bear medicine brings. Salvador walks the land at Cochiti Pueblo to locate the right stones for his carvings. He says “The stone has the animal in it. I just find it."
