Pandas are a white and black furred Bear-like mammal. They are rare, living wild in forested areas of central China where bamboo grows. They are classified as a bear subfamily which diverged from an ancestral bear lineage. Cody Chavez's turquoise-eyed panda with a cute nose from jet, holds a jointed stalk of bamboo, a type of grass that makes up most of its daily diet. About 2 1/4" tall, 1 1/4" wide and 3/8" deep, carved from one portion of fish rock serpentine.
