Ray Tsalate's precious monsters or "monstars" as he adorably calls them, instantly win you over with their quirky, sweet traits and chiseled whimsy. His latest monstar friend is sculpted from antler. A toothy grin is from iridescent mother-of-pearl, while a single spiraled horn is from a pyrite-flecked lapis lazuli. Fun goofy eyes are from turquoise in gold lip shell inlays. A wonderfully furry body is incised and filled with either jet, pipestone or turquoise paste. Dimensions of this bushy-browed delight are roughly 3 3/8" tall, 1 3/4" wide and 1 5/8" deep.
