Mother Whale & Calf

A mother whale keeps her calf close in a swimming position called echelon. The position enables the baby to take advantage of mother's wake and protection. Salvador Romero smoothly sculpted a 2-piece water creature set from lovely found stones that express a deep bond between them. The sweet calf is about 3" long, 7/8" wide and 5/8" tall, while the loving mother measures roughly 5 1/4" long, 1 5/8" wide and 1" tall.
