In the wild a foal will stay with its protective mother Horse for extended periods. This tight knit bond enables a baby horse to learn and thrive. Salvador Romero's horse pairing shows the beautiful relationship between the two. He carves in a fabulous minimal way effectively bringing out an animal's nature in his pieces. An offering bundle is colorful against the found stone horses. Each stone is special in that Salvador specifically sought it out, seeing the horse's spirit in the stone before he even carved it. Together they measure approximately 6 1/4" long, 1 1/2" wide and 3" tall.
