The illustrations in Frank Hamilton Cushing's 1883 book Zuni Fetishes has served as artistic inspiration for Lorandina Sheche and her family. Created from alabaster and serpentine, a wonderful Coyote (Fox or Wolf) pair are presented in the old-style of carving. Enchanted eyes are from verdant malachite inlays, while a handsome abalone point offering bundle shimmers. About 2 5/8" long, 1" wide and 1" tall.
