Maiden Grandmother Teacher

Maiden Grandmother is one who has not had a baby but has mothered many. She is identified by traditionally-styled whorled hair and the wearing of a shawl. Claudia Peina's antler Maiden Grandmother shares wisdom through a coral mouth and assured eyes from jet paste. An intricately patterned shawl is detailed with red coral, pen shell and turquoise inlays. Always ready to teach, she stands at about 2 5/8" tall, 7/8" wide and 3/4" deep.
