Delvin Leekya's amazing
Eagle (or
Hawk) rides the thermals soaring higher and higher taking in far away sights. Carved from a verdant Pacific green snail shell, this elevated raptor is about 3" tall, 2 3/4" wide, and 2 1/2" deep, with turquoise inlaid eyes. Delvin is the grandson of iconic carver Leekya Deyuse (d) and brother of noted carvers Freddie and Hayes Leekya.
A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this eagle fetish will go to the Zuni Eagle Sanctuary.
