Horned Lizards are a symbol of strength and fortuitousness appearing in creation stories of some Indigenous cultures. Sculpted from a dappled leopard marble, Nelson Yatsattie's low-lying reptile is approximately 3 1/4" long, 2 3/8" wide and 3/4" tall. A knowing gaze is from sky blue turquoise inlays. Lovely cranial horns are nicely depicted.
