A single baby hedgehog is adorably called a hoglet. Mother hedgehogs are good parents. Mother will take her hoglets on foraging trips showing them how to find food. Hedgehogs are small mammals with cone-shaped faces, short legs and bodies that are covered with porcupine-like quills. Although similar in appearance, porcupines and hedgehogs are not closely related. Jonas Hustito's precious serpentine with augite hoglet has turquoise eyes, a long snout and nicely incised quills.
