Heartwarming Otters

Sea otters hold hands when they are sleeping so they don't drift apart often referred to as a raft of otters. When baby otters are too small to hold hands they ride on their mothers like this heartwarming carving by Daphne and Leland Boone from jasper and spiny oyster shell. Contented eyes are from watery blue turquoise inlays. About 3 5/8" long, 1" wide and 3/4" tall.
