We're happy to welcome Ryland Boone to Keshi's website. He is the talented son of carvers Daphne and Leland Boone, well on the way to being a noted artist in his own right. Ryland descends from the late mid-century master carver Teddy Weahkee of Zuni Pueblo. His grandmother is Lena Boone and her grandmother was Edna Leki. Sculpted from a gorgeous marble with natural inclusions as green as grass, Ryland's sweet Bear with friendly eyes from coral inlays is about 2" long, 1/2" wide and 1 7/8" tall. A purple spiny oyster shell point and turquoise beads is held in the offering bundle.
