Lynn Quam's sculpts with a gentle hand releasing the form of Bison from an outstanding sodalite specimen. The flowing shape brings out the natural character of the mineral such as the large swath of hematite on the side of the bovine's face and the pyrite inclusions. Mighty horns might be from #8 Mine turquoise, while feeling eyes are from sky blue turquoise inlays. An expressive buffalo measuring approximately 4 3/4" long, 1 1/4" wide and 2 3/4" tall.
