His latest offering is a sterling silver and amazonite adornment that's a ring size 11 1/4. The amazonite is ultra-fresh in hue and said to cleanse negative thoughts. The delightful cabochon's station is about 1 1/4" long, 7/8" wide and 1/4" tall. Despite being named after the Amazon River in South America, amazonite is a semi-opaque feldspar mineral found in places like Colorado, Libya, Australia and Namibia. There are no natural deposits of amazonite near the Amazon basin. The stunning ring is surrounded by a twister silver rope accent, while the open-style shank is engraved with a wonderful floral motif. The one of a kind ring is signed by the artist.
