Many years ago at the age of sixteen, Ronnie Lunasee begin to carve. His teacher was master carver Melvin Sandoval, his brother-in-law. Crouched in hunting mode, Ronnie's Mountain-lion (puma, panther or cougar) has been smoothly sculpted from Petoskey stone, an ancient marine coral from prehistoric days. Eyes are from the brightest of blue turquoises. Dimensions of this fine feline are approximately 3 1/2" long, 3/4" wide and 1" tall.
