"Finding The Heart of Our Home" is Anthony Gchachu's newest collection of fabulous paintings whose theme centers around the origin and Migration Story of the A:Shiwi (The People). The story tells of two eggs. From the bright and colorful egg emerged a Raven and from the drab and dull egg emerged a Macaw. Each bird led one half of the People to their respective homelands. The Raven lead the People to Zuni and the Macaw lead the People into what would become South America.
"Follow Me" is a vibrant original acrylic painting with Macaw who signals the way as a man and Deer companion watch in awe. We love all the details in the composition including the powerful symbols on the canyon's inner wall and blooming yucca plant. Signed by the artist, framed dimensions are approximately 8 1/4" by 6 1/4" by 1 3/4". Unframed measurements are about 7" by 5". The lovely frame has a gold face while the sides are painted black.
