Floating Fluorite Otter

Indigenous Coastal communities have coexisted with sea otters for thousands of years. Ancient ancestral laws of respect and responsibility have guided stewardship of them. Because of the fur trade that started in the 1700's and other non-Native interference, sea otters and other wildlife populations have suffered. Nowadays conventional science is finally realizing that incorporating Indigenous science and wisdom aides in restoring vital marine creatures and their landscapes. Kenric Laiwakete's floating fluorite otter has turquoise inlaid eyes and a heartline or breath path, which look beautiful with the gorgeous purple hues of the mineral. About 1 3/8" long, 7/8" wide and 7/8" tall.
