Some time ago, Alvin Calavaza shared with us that his prized Eagle carvings are identifiable by the incised lines and turquoise inlays around the neck and breast area, while his beloved Hawk carvings only have the turquoise inlays and no incised lines, as evidenced in this perched raptor. Insightful eyes from turquoise inlays see far and wide, while a hooked beak aides in the hunt. Turquoise accents look beautiful inlaid to the picture jasper. Approximately 1 3/4" long, 5/8" wide and 7/8" deep.
