Animal: Eagle, Material: Travertine

An Eaglet (or Hawk) looks forward to trying out new plumage, carved from travertine with a neat white shell tail addition. Eyes are darling, from tiger's eye inlays. A hooked beak and a determined spirit will get this baby raptor far in life. Indigenous cultures honor eagles as living, sacred symbols of power. About 2" tall, 3/4" wide and 1 1/4" deep, carved by Armond Sandoval.

A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this eagle fetish will go to the Zuni Eagle Sanctuary.
