Desert Go-Getter

Cameron Kalestewa's foraging squirrel gathers local treasures like piñon nuts and juniper berries as summer turns to fall in New Mexico. Carved from green marble with gorgeous inclusions, this crushed turquoise-eyed chattering spirit is approximately 2 1/2" long, 3/4" wide and 1 3/8" tall. An alternating heartline or breath path is beautifully inlaid with turquoise, shell, cultured opal and bright lapis lazuli. An offering bundle has a gold lip shell point with turquoise, hematite, peridot and olive shell beads.
