Todd Westika learned the art of stone carving from his late aunt Rhoda Quam. His parents are noted jewelers and carvers Nancy and Sheldon Westika, from the greater Quandelacy family of artists. Todd graduated from New Mexico Tech with a background in geo-engineering. His love for rocks and minerals draws him to work with unusual materials like the gorgeous gold flake obsidian specimen fashioned into a stunning blade for this decorative knife. The handle is in the form of a Bear elegantly sculpted from white marble, inlaid with sterling silver eyes and a sky blue turquoise heartline or breath path. Colorful red coral and sterling silver beads adorn the handsome collectible bear knife that can be placed upright as shown. About 7" long, 1" wide and 1" tall.
