Courting Roadrunner

Roadrunners mate for life engaging in fascinating courtship behavior. The male will tempt the female with a food offering like a reptile dangling from its beak. It will dance in front of her, bowing and fanning his tail, raising and dropping wings. He'll make cooing sounds too. If she accepts, they'll stay together for a lifetime. Calbert Bowannie's wonderful roadrunner sculpted from onyx seeks a mate through turquoise inlaid eyes. About 3 1/4" long, 7/8" wide and 1 1/4" tall.
