This fabulous and rich turquoise
Medicine-bear (or
Bear) is carved by Stewart Quandelacy. It's a lovely palm sized carving that is cool and soothing to the touch, measuring about about 2" long, 1 5/8" tall by 3/8" wide. The bear is accented with bright blue turquoise inlaid eyes as well as Stewart's signature zigzag heartline.
Zuni bear fetishes with a distinct arched back mimic an entrance to a cave which represents a safe place for healing and restoration.
