Cinnamon black
Bears live in mountainous and lowland areas of New Mexico. The difference between the Indigenous view of bears and that of mainstream society is that bears are respected as family, sentient beings who have a range of emotions congruent with those of humans. Herbert Halate's reddish-brown bear has been carved from lightly fragrant Zuni cedar wood with a softly etched coat. Turquoise eyes are inlaid to a slightly turned head as this approximately 3 1/2" long, 1 3/4" wide and roughly 1 1/2" tall creature forages.
