Eagle (or
Hawk) remains close to its protective parent's family nest as they are still feeding and teaching hunting skills to the fledgling. Carved from Cerrillos turquoise which is mined in the Cerrillos Hills in northern New Mexico, this wonderful jet-eyed raptor is about 2 1/2" tall, 3/8" wide and 2 1/2" long. An offering necklace has a warm amber and turquoise beads.
