Robert Michael Weahkee is a fourth-generation carver from Zuni Pueblo. His late grandmother was renowned Zuni artist Edna Leki. His collectible angel ornament has been carved from burnished antler. A silver halo, a tiny feather element, incised bangs, gentle eyes from jet paste and a coral inlay adorn the face of this celestial attendant. A lovely offering necklace has turquoise inlays and heavenly wings are etched. Dimensions are about 7" long with a festive 4" red leather loop, 2 1/2" wide and 5/8" deep.
