Brian Yatsattie is a brilliant carver as well as a skilled jeweler. His latest inspiration combines these two talents in a sterling silver and carved black lip shell Raven (or crow) head pendant necklace. Sculpted in profile, the discerning bird's intense gaze is from jet inlays while a powerful beak has beautiful light green iridescence. Scalloped plumage is intricately incised illuminated by the shell's changing colors. Silver dots encircle the handsome setting. The corvid comes with a braided brown leather cord necklace that's approximately 14 1/2" long. Including bale, the removable pendant itself measures about 2 5/8" long, 2 5/8 wide and 3/8" deep.
