Brighter Days Bluebird

Bluebirds seem to hold onto joy and bring a promise of brighter days. Evalena Boone carved this chrysocolla feathered friend and inlaid lovely red coral accents. She descends from the noted and important Teddy Weahkee family of Zuni artists. Evalena's mother was Lena Boone, and her grandmother was the late Edna Leki. Her brother is carver Leland Boone. About 1 7/8" long, 1/4" wide and 1 1/8" tall.
