Blue Jay

Robert Michael Weahkee brings another wondrous antler carving to life. Created as a blue jay, the crested bird is accented with lapis eyes and a necklace of blue hued stones: aquamarine and lapis lazuli. The feathers and beak are highlighted with gentle burnishing to darken targeted areas. Blue jays are know to have boisterous voices and be a bit territorial but in quiet moments they also have beautiful and sweet songs. This lovely feathered friend measures about 2 3/8" tall, 1 1/4" wide and 1 3/4" deep.
