Evalena Boone's coral-eyed Beaver is a testament to her dedication and skill in continuing a great Zuni cultural tradition handed down through the late Teddy Weahkee who was a very active mid-twentieth century animal carver and jeweler. Evalena's mother was Lena Boone and her grandmother was Edna Leki, both important artists. Evalena's brother is carver Leland Boone. The chrysocolla water friend constantly maintains and rebuilds a home teaching us to renovate our lives for the better too. A hard-working creature with a lovely etched tail and iridescent abalone point offering bundle, to inspire us everyday. About 2 1/8" long, 3/4" wide and 5/8" tall.
