If you treat the bear with arrogance, fear and cruelty, the balance will be broken. The sacred law of reciprocity must be upheld to live a good life. Cameron Kalestewa's delightful polar bear is carved from sparkling sugar stone marble to a size of approximately 2 5/8" long, 1" wide and 1 1/2" tall. Sentient eyes are from turquoise inlays, while a colorful heartline or breath path is from colorful turquoise, mother-of-pearl, gold lip shell, Rosarita slag and jet inlays. A gift in the form of an offering bundle gives thanks and honors the spirit of the bear. It consists of an iridescent gold lip shell point with turquoise, hematite, quartz and shell beads.
