Variscite is a naturally gorgeous and rare mineral in the turquoise family. It is mined in Nevada, Utah and Wyoming, plus other locales around the world such as Brazil, Spain, Germany and Poland. However, Christopher Sandoval's prized Badger has been carved from an Australian variscite, cherished for its vibrant color and freshness. This particular piece showcases an amazing pattern of matrix that resembles the continent of Australia, perhaps. A low to the ground stance and sweetly tenacious eyes of turquoise are bestowed upon this approximate 3 3/8" long, 1 1/2" wide and 5/8" tall incredible fetish.
