Delvin Leekya's grandfather was renowned fetish carver Leekya Deyuse (d) who produced some of the finest carvings in Zuni Pueblo. Delvin's brothers are noted artists Freddie Leekya and Hayes Leekya. With sweet turquoise-eyes, a personality-plus Bear has been sculpted from a good-looking serpentine to a size of approximately 3 1/4" long, 1" wide and 1 1/2" tall. A double-point offering bundle is from mother-of-pearl and turquoise.
