Zuni Mother & Babies

Standing at about 3" tall, 1" wide and 1" deep, a devoted Zuni mother and two babies are brought to us by longtime artist Claudia Peina, carved from one colorful portion of apple coral. Many turquoise pieces accent the finely incised details filled with jet paste. The little one's hair is traditionally whorled. Happy facial features from jet paste express the deep emotional connection the trio share.
