Jess Johnson was taught jewelry making from his grandmother and parents while growing up at Zuni Pueblo. His latest offering is a fabulous contemporary cuff bracelet that has that "wow" factor. An abundance of "snake eye" round-shaped Sleeping Beauty turquoise stones resemble a reptile's eye. They are secured with tiny, custom-cut bezels to support them in the traditional Zuni petit point technique. The stunning center station hosts 6 vertical rows of 14 snake eye stones that measures about 2 7/8" by 1 1/4" across. The complimenting side stations are 3 vertical rows of 8 stones coming in at approximately 1 3/4" by 5/8" across. The innovatively designed cuff's entire inner circumference is about 6 3/4" which includes the opening of approximately 1 1/4". The sterling silver bracelet is 2 7/8" at the widest part.
