Bear has been carved out of zebra stone marble. This fetish has an endearing and playful demeanor expressed through turquoise inlaid eyes. About 2" tall, 2" wide and 2 1/2" deep. A bear (Anshe) was the principal animal for the Pueblo People and they are the most prevalent subject of Zuni fetishes. Bear fetishes are used for healing, protection, strength, journeying, mothering, hunting and gathering.
