Interesting pinolith stone was first noted in Austria. But in 2018 gold miners found pinolith in the Canadian mountains. Ingredients consists of magnesite, dolomite and graphite that slowly cooled ages ago forming a striking pattern resembling pine kernels, hence its name. Nelson Yatsattie's horned Owl perches with a quiet authority and unblinking eyes from turquoise inlays. The gorgeous formations within the pinolith stone conveniently resemble plumage on this approximately 2 3/4" long, 7/8" wide and 2 3/8" tall fabulous raptor.
