Porcupine Prickles

It's said that a porcupine has an average of 30,000 quills on its body. Despite the prickly security, this little creature is quite friendly, curious and sweet. They are a great reminder that being open about your boundaries can help to weed out unnecessary energies that don't compliment you or your goals. Carved from vermillion marble and inlaid with a balancing Zuni Sunface element from jet, coral and turquoise, Danette Laate's woodland companion is about 2 1/8" long, 3/8" wide and 1 1/8" tall. Nice eyes are from turquoise inlays and ears are lightly drilled.
