Zuni Pueblo potters Avelia Peynetsa and her son Anderson Jamie Peynetsa are both award-winning artists who collaborated in the creation of a remarkable Owl pottery from natural clay that they harvest and process. Stunningly hand-painted with bold pigments, the raptor's tufts, beak, wings and tail feathers are beautifully presented in three dimensions. Layers of painted plumage looks downy soft.
