Mountain lions create healthy ecosystems. Human mismanagement of the natural world is the greatest threat to their long-term survival. They can flourish if given sufficient protection from habitat destruction and overhunting. Melvin Sandoval has carved a wonderful pair of serpentine Mountain-lions (panthers, pumas, cougars or leopards) with long tails up and over the backsides, in old-style presentation. In nature, balancing tails are nearly one-third their entire length, incredible. About 2 7/8" long, 7/8" wide and 1 1/4" tall.
